Lauren Dobelbower is the owner and trainer of Bay Dogs, LLC. With over 13 years experience in the dog training industry, Lauren has successfully trained thousands of dogs -- and their owners -- while addressing a wide array of behavioral issues. Regardless of the issue, Lauren has discovered there is one key factor to a dog's success and it is at the heart of every case: Owner commitment. After all, it won't help the owner if their dog only behaves when Lauren is around! By connecting with her clients on a deeper level, Lauren can analyze their goals and customize an effective training plan that will fit into a client's lifestyle and be easier and more enjoyable to implement.  

Lauren is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and is also a certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator for the American Kennel Club (AKC). She has written lesson plans and taught courses at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland on Canine Body Language and Pet Therapy Training. Lauren even trained one of her dogs, Vinny, to become a pet therapy dog, and is proud to say he was one of only two Perro de Presa Canarios ever to be certified as a pet therapy dog through Pet Partners!

Currently, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her own mixed-breed rescue dog, Gizmo, and her husband, Adam. As a pack, they enjoy visiting local nature trails, outdoor restaurants, and coffee shops.
