"Penny"
Thank you so much for everything. You are a miracle worker! We are so pleased with the results we have been seeing with Penny since the first day you began teaching us techniques. Penny, as a German Shepherd puppy, was already a handful at 3 months old but was quickly getting out of hand as she grew to over 60 lbs by 6 months old! We were so grateful to find you and learn realistic ways for myself and my 10 year old daughter to control her even with her size and hyper+stubborn temperament. We went from wrestling and being scratched (by nails and teeth!) when trying control her impulses to jump etc…to being able to quickly take control of the situation when Penny is feeling out of control and teach Penny how to calm herself!!
It has been a night and day difference. Just a few weeks ago I couldn’t walk past Penny without her jumping and mouthing (which with those big pup teeth feels like biting!) and now can walk by her with a plate of food and Penny behaves calmly!
We even got to take Penny away for the weekend. During our trip she had her first dog park visit where she was able to stay calm enough to make a friend! She joined us for her first restaurant outing and layed down by our table for the entire meal. She was so well behaved and a pleasure both for us and strangers in public. Thank you so much for teaching us how to train Penny effectively to have manners!

We absolutely loved working with Lauren! Not only did she show our dog, Koda, how to respect personal space, behave properly on leash, and that WE are in charge (not him) - she taught US how to support, reinforce, and correct his behaviors by providing us with the tools we needed to set him up for success. He is 3 years old and is very protective of our property, but he is continuing to improve the more we practice what Lauren has taught us. He also used to be difficult to take on walks (impossible if I was also pushing the stroller). But now I look forward to our morning walks every day as he stays right next to me and I don't have to worry about him taking off after something. He was always a little unpredictable around other dogs but now that he is properly leash trained he can ignore any animal we might pass by and looks to me to reinforce his good behavior.
I highly recommend working with Lauren. If you are ready to take on the responsibility of working with your dog throughout your everyday life and adopting some new habits to help them adapt, I can assure you that you will see major improvement with Laurens help!

Lauren did a great job providing me the right approach in training my puppy and the tools / advice needed so I could put in the effort when she was not around. She used positive reinforcement which my puppy responded to so well. My puppy and I so enjoyed working with her. She was just wonderful. I also appreciated that she sent me follow up notes since there is a lot of information presented in one hour. She really helped me to help my puppy be a better family member. Thanks Lauren!
